Let's get started...
Painting Pumpkins: to go on your flower arrangement
Materials Used:
Painters tape
FolkArt, Color Shift, Acrylic Paint, 5128E Pink Flash
FolkArt, Acrylic Paint, 2546E Bright Pink
PUMPKIN #1: Use painters tape to make geometric shapes, run a strip of tape diagonally around the pumpkin, and paint the entire pumpkin. Once the paint has dried, carefully pull up the tape, then paint or “fix” the spots to clean up the lines.
PUMPKIN #2: I used a paint dripping technique by diluting the paint with water and pouring the paint on top of the pumpkin.
Black Cutting Board: to treat your friends
Materials Used:
Cutting board
FolkArt, Brushed Metal, Acrylic paint, 5168 Brushed Black
FolkArt, Glitterific, 5876 Silver
Mod Podge Gloss
Paint bottom part of the cutting board black to match the Halloween theme, and used Glitterific paint on the letters. Use cutout letters/stencil to create the words then I used Mod Podge to seal the board.
Mod Podge Decorative Wine Glass:
Materials Used:
Paper napkins
Mod Podge
Cutout the napkin to desire look to place on the wine glass. Then place Mod Podge on the surface of the glass where you would like the desire graphic to place. Then add a napkin on top and gently brush more Mod Podge on the surface of the napkin. Set to dry.
Lace Crown: Party hat
Materials Used:
Lace Fabric
Mod Podge Ultra Matte Spray
Gems
Spray fabric to harden, on both sides of the fabric. Once the fabric drys, shape the fabric into a round/crown, and seal the ends with Mod Podge. Then add gems.
Vintage Glass Potions: to mix potions
Materials Used:
Glass/Cup
FolkArt, Brushed Metal, Acrylic paint, 5168 Brushed Black
FolkArt, Glitterific, 5876 Silver paint
Use cutout letters/stencil. Paint the shape (spider, skull, etc), set to dry, then add Glitterific paint above.
Lace Decor:
Materials Used:
Lace Fabric
Mod Podge Ultra Matte Spray
Balloon/Glass
To go with the theme, I used black fabric lace to create lace candle holders and lace glass sleeves. To create the candle holders I used a balloon and Mod Podge. Blow up the balloon to desire size. Then add Mod Podge to the fabric and place on top of the balloon. Repeat steps by adding more Mod Podge to the balloon couple of times until harden.

FolkArt Stencil Brushes
FolkArt Squeegee Tools
FolkArt Adhesive Silkscreen
