The Breaking Barriers piñata project is an interactive art installation designed to address societal, cultural, and political barriers. The “breaking barriers” uses the piñata as a powerful metaphor to break down the societal, cultural, and personal barriers.
BREAK PINATAS: The piñatas would not only celebrate the rich cultural heritage of this art form but also serve as a powerful medium for addressing social justice issues (immigrant rights, LGBTQ+ acceptance, etc) happening now.
ACTION. SHARE & SHOW SUPPORT. The "Breaking Barriers" installation is more than just an art piece—it's an invitation to take action. Through the power of social media, we’ll encourage the audience to engage with the piñatas, sparking conversations and raising awareness.
