Alebrijes! And Papermache

Session 1: October 12 | 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM
Follow along as Marilyn guides you through the steps of designing and constructing the structure of your alebrije! Use aluminum foil, craft wire, cardboard, and newspaper. You’re welcome to bring some of your own cardboard and newspaper from home to repurpose – or use the materials provided. Take your alebrije home with you to dry and return the following week to finish!
Session 2: October 19 | 12:00 Noon – 2:00 PM
Finish your alebrije by ornamenting it with colored tissue paper and paint. Take your creation home to put on your ofrenda!
