DIY Felt Easter Bunny Project

Try this fun easter activity with the kids. Perfect to add to your Easter decorations. I made a kit with all the materials needed and added it to her Easter basket. I also made bunny ears headband with felt flowers that she can wear during all of our festivities. We do plan to continue with Easter at home with full of fun Easter activities, a delicious brunch, and even an egg-hunt. We might not be able to be surrounded by family and friends, but we will make the most of it.

Materials:

  • Felt (pink, light pink, purple and black)

  • Scissors/Cutting Machine

  • Xyron Sticker Maker

Instructions:

  1. I pre-cut all the materials. You can hand cut bunnies, eyelashes, hearts, and everything you need to create a bunny. Or you can use your cutting machine to cut basic shapes. I usually printout a sheet with peep-bunnies, eyelashes, bunny feet, tail, etc. and use that as a stencil.

  2. Then feed each shape through your Xyron Sticker Maker.

  3. Create an example of this felt project or printout some pictures. Some kiddos are visual learners and need to see what their felt-project will look like.
