Harvest Festival

There are different ways to celebrate what Mother Nature provides for us, and learning how to give thanks to our ancestors. Fall decorations go up for Native American Heritage Day/Month. And focusing on a Harvest theme. The month of giving thanks!

Turkey Cardboard Activity: Cardboard cutout, painted with @plaidcrafts paint, and hot glue leaves. I love doing projects with my little turkey. We picked up leaves from outside, and as she hands me leaves, I hot glue, and she even tells me where to hot glue the leaves. Easy project for the kids to make. Find Xyron Hot Glue here.

Family Fall Decor: The holiday, for us, is all about family. And our fireplace mantel displays that- this holiday. My toddler & I painted these owls from @dollartree, my husband handmade pottery is my fav, I painted the foam pumpkin with @plaidcrafts & hot glue some flowers, and reusing our wooden cutouts. Other: Instagram, Facebook, Youtube

Kids Bookshelf: My first job is teaching and being a role model to my daughter. I try my best to teach her about diversity, cultural, and the world. The kids book self trend is one of my favorite social media posts. I do it a little different. I added crafty items I’ve made. I turn felt into mask, @Dollartree sock into a stuff animal, sensory bin with items from @Dollartree, wooden puzzles, coloring pages that are laminated with @xyron glaminator, and mini fox pinata. DIY and add your our touches. Find local books and even find good books at the Library.
